Good Morning Ladies,

Windy has decided to get me up early this morning. Whatever reason I don't know why. Maybe because tonight is scrap night and I needed my rest.

Speaking of scrap night....can't wait to see everyone who is signed up. I am ready for some good chat and laughs.I hope everyone has their scrap bags packed.

I just let Windy back out and I can hear an owl hooting in my backyard. How cool is that? I love living out in the county. Soon the deer will be at my back fence. I did hear them harvesting the field behind my house on Wednesday night. That means Windy and I can start walking back there soon.

I was going to do a demo tomorrow, but changed my mind. I had forgotten that it was scrap night tonight. I'm always so tired on the Saturday after scrap night that I wouldn't be very good for a demo.

Here are two samples for you today....

This is the new birthday paper collection that is in at the store. I used a sheet of the coredinations cardstock for the background sheet. The only extra embellishment I added was the rhinestone stars. A quick and easy page for that special birthday girl in your life.

This is a Holly Berry House harvest medallion image. I made it into an ornament. It is four layers deep. I colorized it with brush markers, a metallic Dee Gruneg pen, and Stickles. To complete it as an ornament I added a tassel. I backed it with gold mirror card to finish the back. I then added a gold eyelet and a gold cord to hang it by.

Well, off to pack up for scrap night....

Happy Scraps,

Mrs. Swandog
