Good Morning Ladies,
It feels a little crisp out this morning. Windy was enjoying it. She was dashing around like any happy dog should.
The make n take yesterday was really cool. I was glad to see everyone there.
Nancy and I both made domestic goddess books. I made mine with the paper cut mini-book and Nancy made hers with the chipboard house book. You will have to stamp on in and take a look at both books. It is so fun to see the different spins we each give to papers and projects.
The new Inkadinkado buy two get one free stamps are here! Very cool Christmas designs. The are going fast so stamp on in and pick yours up today.
I will be working at the shop again today. I think Thursdays are going to be mine at the store now. Remember if you bring in show and tell I will take photos and post it on the web site.
My camera is charged up and I took photos of samples this morning....so here we go...
This first sample is a jewelry gift box. This box is made with a 50 cent paper mache box from the store. I painted it blue first and then added a top coat of cream paint. Next I used the liner tape around the lid and covered it in glitter. On top I used the amm punch out flowers from the store. I punched them out added pop dots and inked the edges. I tied three strands of pearls together with fiber. I then added the pearls, fiber, and flowers to the top of the box. This box makes a beautiful presentation for that special gift.
This is another sc rapbook page from the domestic goddess collection. The measuring tape on the side is a cardstock sticker from nostaliga. This was a fast and easy page. The only embellishment is the measuring tape. Everything else is cut from this double sided cardstock collection. A great tribute to our mothers and grandmothers.
Well....off to create...
Happy Scraps,
Mrs. Swandog
