Good Morning Ladies,
This is going to be short this morning. Too much to get done before I head out for work.
New products came in late yesterday afternoon. New stamps came in. Along with more pearls and rhinestones. Stamp on in today.
Time is growing short and I still have to get my christmas cards in the mail. There is shopping yet to do. And of course more house to clean.
I'm off to get more chores done...

Good Morning Ladies,
Sorry I was mia yesterday. The holidays coming up seem to making me very busy.
I hope everyone enjoyed make and take yesterday. It was very cool. I stopped by for just a little bit.
I just checked a shipment of new product through ups. It says it is on it's way to the store today. I don't know all of what is in this shipment. Though I do know it has stamps in it.
Here is a sample for you today.....
Another layout using Webster's pages. I cut out the flowers on the border all the way around and the window awning. I popped these up. I added just a touch of stickles to the window awning. The 5 mats are cut from the other side of this beautiful double sided cardstock. This page was fast to create.
I had my last night of wednesday night dog training last night. So until spring I will be free on Wednesday nights. This will give me more time to plan classes for everyone. Demo's will start back up after the holidays are over too.
Stamp on in and see me today at the store. I will be there all day.
Off to get Sam up for school....

Good Morning Ladies,
Sorry I was missing in action yesterday. I had to leave for my day job before 6 am. It was pretty much up and shower and out the door by the time I took care of Windy.
I am also having a hard time trying to upload a photo to the web site this morning. I don't know why. I do have a sample but it will have to wait for now.
Christmas is approaching fast and I have a gift album I need to help a friend complete. We are going to do this with simple one photo layouts in an evening. I have a plan in mind so it should go smoothly.
Well ....off to wake Sam for school....

Good Morning Ladies,
It's Saturday morning and I have a busy weekend cut out for myself. I am going to work at my day job on a Saturday morning. Then it's off to work at the store. Cleaning and decorating. Oh yes and dog training on Sunday. I will fit stamping in somewhere this weekend. I need it to regenerate for next week.
Do you want to do something unique and fast to add a special touch to your gift wrapping this year? While you are out shopping grab a roll of brown mailing paper. Bring it home and stamp christmas images on it and tie it with a big red bow. Most of this mailing paper is earth friendly. So this will also help you go green this christmas.
I am seeing lots of houses decorated for christmas this year. The pretty lights and different decorations from classic to new fangled. If you are having a creative block just drive around in your car after dark for some inspiration. The colors and elements are there for you to borrow from.
Here is a sample for you today.....
Yet another scrapbook page made with Webester's pages. Once again I have cut the elements of the double sided cardstock and popped them up. For this page I added the bird cage crocheted piece from webster's pages. I also added ribbons to both bird cages. Flowers with rihinestones for centers seem to be just right for under the bird cage on the left. I added a rhinestone to the center of the clock hands. I also inked the outside edge of the clock. If you have not worked with the websters pages I encourage you to do so. The designers at this company have made it so easy to create elegant pages in a snap.
Well....off to get ready for the day....

Good Morning Ladies,
The wind is still blowing out there and the temps seem to be the same. Deep freeze are not happy words for me.
My oldest son loves the winter weather. He is headed up to Michigan this weekend for a snowboarding trip with friends. Oh to be young again. Wait .....I never did like the cold even when I was young. LOL
New product came in yesterday. When I saw the UPS truck pull up, I thought what the heck?. Melody did not mention an order coming in. Sure enough he had two boxes for us. So stamp on in and see what's new.
Here are a couple of samples for you today....
This card was created using the Husky stamp from Sunday International and the happy holidays stamp from the dawn houser set. Oh yes and I used a couple of rubber stamp tapestry stamps from the snowflake set. The paper I used to create my stamping on is a layering swatch from the paper cut. In addition to stamping on the layering swatch, I spritzed it using a combo of water and the us art quest mica powder in a purple. I added these two components to a mini-mister. Yes ...you can make your own shimmer spray with these two things. It makes the shimmer spray that is a great value. I added glitter to the bottom with the us art quest glossy ppa. To top this card off I added a snowflake from creative impressions, with a purple rhinestone for the center.
I brought you this same stamped image the other day. Today I used a different designer series paper by karen foster. I changed the background and added randow snowflakes stamped with a rubber stamp tapestry set. I love getting mileage out of my stamps by changing a thing or two.
I made two samples while I was working at the store yesterday. One card and one scrapbook page. I left them there. So slide on in and see them.
Melody is going to open up on New Years Day and give you space to stamp and scrap. Register early as we have limitied seating avalible. What a great way to start the new year.
Well.....off to wake Sam up for school...

Good Morning Ladies,
Wow! Talk about cold weather. It is here. Not much snow but the wind has been unreal.
These are the kind of days that staying inside and stamping/scrapbooking make sense. I know a lot of people love the cold weather. I am a window winter watcher when the temps dip too low.
A new shipment arrived from sparkle and sprinkle yesterday. I think it contained stamps, embossing powder, and more glitter. Can't wait to see what came in when I go today.
Yes, I will be in the shop all day today. So stamp on in and see me.
Here is a sample for you today....
For this cardinal card I used a white layering swatch from the paper cut. I stamped my cardnal in the center. I then stamped the wreath around it using a Rubber Stamp Tapestry set. I inked the edges. I used two papers from the Christmas GCD collection. To top this off I added a red ribbon bow cut with a tassel attached.
Well....off to create...

Good Morning Ladies,
Wow some weather we are having now. But this is northern indiana. It was a little tricky driving last night. Of course I was at dog training. Will I let a little bad weather get me down. Nooooo. LOL
Don't forget today is make and take. Melody has something fun for you today.
My husband saw me making christmas cards the other night. He told me I better hurry up and get them done if I wanted to mail them out. I guess he is right. christmas cards started arriving in my mailbox yesterday.
Here is a sample for you today.....
This was another fun and easy christmas card. I stamped a cute little sheep on a white layering swatch from the paper cut. I colorized him with a grey cat's eye ink pad, spica glitter pens and a brush marker. I then stamped merry christmas from the dawn houser holiday stamp set. I used two different papers from the gcd designer chrismas series set. A ribbon bow tops this card off.
I love the dawn houser christmas set. It also includes a happy holidays stamp, a snowflake stamp, and a reindeer stamp.I have already given it a work out.
Well....off to wake Sam for school....

Good Morning Ladies,
We did get a dusting of snow yesterday, but it was gone by the time I got off of work. I guess there ie more snow in the forcast. We all have to remember to do our snow driving now. It can get a little tricky around here.
Don't forget tomorrow is Make and Take. I'm sure Melody will have something fun for you to do.
I haven't done much christmas shopping yet. I did do my christmas shopping at the store. Last night I did do a little shopping on line from my computer chair. But I found out if I want to do anymore on line I will have to do it in the next couple of days or it won't arrive by christmas.
I have a sample for you today....
This snowman card was fast and easy. I stamped the snowmen in black staz-on and the snowflake border in hydrenga staz-on. I coloredthem in with a glaze pen and spica glitter markers. I then added the glitter snow with a glue pen. I used the snowflake paper as my bottom layer, as well as cutting three snowflake circles from the paper for the top of the card. I added another solid color mat and ribbon to top this card off.
I am hosting christmas eve at my house this year. Never fear....my mom is helping with the menu and cooking.
Well....off to wake Sam for school....

Good Morning Ladies,
Scrap night was a blast like always. I even got some stamping done.We has sweet and sour meatballs. Even those who had not had sweet and sour meatballs before enjoyed them. Some of the gals took their page kit and took it to the next level. That is always very cool.
The new stamps came in and they are awesome. Lots and lots of cute sets.
I went to my dog training christmas party on Saturday night. I had a really good time and the food was great. I can recommend Casey's in New Buffalo. What a great place for a chrismas party.
Here is a sample for you today......
This card was created using a pine tree stamp and a reindeer stamp. I added glitter using the us art quest glossy ppa. This gave the glitter a raised effect. I then double mounted the panel onto two of the gcd papers. To top it off I added a gold bow.
Well....off to wake Sam for school...

Good Morning Ladies,
I woke up this morning and it is freezing outside. I guess I better get use to it. Long johns her I come. LOL
Here is the final set of scrapbook club pages from November....
This is my set of pages. For some reason when I took the photo I cut off the right hand edge of the right hand page. Go figure. My turkey is hand paper pieced. The cut off part has a border with ivy and a basket of spilled apples.
I have been doing some paper piecing recently. It is so much fun. Those of you who are signed up for scrapnight tonight will recieve a paper piecing in your kit.
The tracking site said that the shipment with all the new stamps from the new company will arrive today. At what time I don't know. But we will have to let Melody get them unpacked and priced before we swarm her too bad. LOL
Cathy H. and I have been chomping on the bit waiting for this order to come in. Silly stampers!
Well....off to wake Sam for school....
